I don't think Weebit did lose out on this. CBRAM and Weebit's ReRAM could potentially coexist and both be produced by GF. However, if GF has already convinced some customers to switch to CBRAM, this decreases our chances to get a foot in the door. That's also why I believe GF will not be the game changer for Weebit. An IDM such as STMicroelectronics, on the other hand, would be a perfect match for us.
But back to the question I asked a couple of days ago, where are the 22nm wafers? It's a bit concerning that this is taking so long. I hope they didn't run into any technical issues. An announcement that Weebit has received the wafers and initiated qualification would be huge and de-risk our tech even further.
