Its a battle royale as shorters desperately try to manage an orderly exit and cover.

Its disgusting really and demonstrates that the ASX is only interested in the fees it jags from hedge and index funds (who are hard wired into the ASX platform) as they manipulate the share price of most stocks and short companies to within a inch of their lives.

These same blood sucking funds are regularly topped up via transfusions of compulsory superannuation contributions by the hard working lemmings that are sold a dream that this may provide Mr and Mrs Joe Average a retirement safety net in their retirement (again providing future govts not taxing the life out of whatever earnings).

We need real leadership in this country to take on special interests and legislate real reform. Cut red and green tape / repeal more laws than are introduced / re-organise the tax system to encourage rather than discourage productivity / cut tax loopholes for foreign domiciled multi-nationals / ban shorting / stop new unaffordable govt schemes subsidizing this or that.
