Because I love speculation too - who would likely be wanting to takeover. Intel perhaps?? Maybe there are hard feelings there for all we know. Certainly Intel has been in the dumps for a bit and this could be their opportunity for market domination again. Someone with money and reasons to hold the share price down so they could takeover. I have to be honest and say I still don't understand this shorting business. If you know good announcements are coming, wouldn't the shorter's be wanting out??? I don't know, I'm just contemplating all these things and coming up with a great conspiracy theory
I have to say I personally wouldn't want to entertain a takeover of $10, and frankly even $20 doesn't seem that great.
