I was just having another look at the last quarterly report and noticed this encouraging item that appeared under the heading of Weebit's ReRAM on Global Foundries' 22nm:
"Testing of the 8Mb 22nm demo chip – Weebit’s largest memory capacity module to date – exceeded expectations for baseline performance and is continuing as more wafers arrive."
It seems to me that the only purpose of these additional wafers must be the conduct of qualification of the 22nm product. Maybe the first confirmation that the market will receive will be the announcement of qualification success and a substantial contract arrangement.
