well that interview is very disappointing.... seems a partnership with GF is out of the question for now.
They're just going to develop ReRAM inhouse with their research partner (similar to Leti):

Seems to be government funded.
looks like they do have a tiny little bit of research into ReRAM already.
Doesn't mean WBT cant qualify and produce at GF, just means that WBT will need to do the groundwork and sell to the end customer directly rather than GF having the product on the shelves so to speak.
