The new tech is already here.... SK Hynix demonstrated Selector Only Memory, to replace NAND flash.
This means weebit is a long way behind in the discrete market, probably best to stick with embedded and grab the market share with Texas Instruments & ST Micro.....
I mentioned it here (https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/wbt-competitors.7483763/?post_id=69001480) 16 months ago, but has progressed above early stage prototype since then.
Samsung is also working on similar
