Interesting take but couldn't be further from the truth. I brought into WBT in early 2020 and exited my final holding in early 2023. I've not held since.
I rode the wave of misinformed euphoria for 3 years and watched as the stock got manipulated by a reasonably large holder. Whilst it was all to my benefit as an earlier holder it was clear the stock was being treated as a large holders play toy most weeks at the expense of long-term investors. People on here encouraging folks to buy more off the back of terrible fundamentals was embarrassing and I was happy to call it out even when folks don't like it.
Whilst the large holder has lost interest and moved on to their next plaything they have taken a lot of other people's money with them. For every person like me who was lucky with their timing there are 5 who've been taken for a ride.
