I didn't say that is the only reason. There are also weak-handed holders that are selling because of fright at the falling share price. There are those who set tight stop orders that are getting hit. There are also this who are running very clever robotic trading setups that can walk the share price down into the clutches of their own buy orders for the purpose of cheap accumulation.
But the chief culprits are the shorters. If you think differently, let's see your evidence.
