You said “probably” that says it all. What actually happened is that Weebit moved away from the original silicon dioxide design tied to Rice’s patents. They’ve since developed and patented their own tech, which makes any Rice royalty clause irrelevant.
The change was necessary to make the tech commercially viable. So no, Rice isn’t getting anything. That’s not speculation. That’s where Weebit is at today .
