Can I second the sentiments of gj0201. I have been interested in volume from day one but it's amazing how much TA ignores it completely. I'm not saying you can't trade without looking at volume, plenty of HC posters seem to do pretty well without it but I figure every little bit of edge helps.

Thanks for the BHP ranges. You'll be pleased to know that I have been listening, and looking at ranges is something I have been doing more regularly. I intended to work out the BHP ranges this morning and you saved me the effort. Incidentally, given the skittishness of the market we decided to take the profit and run. Got out of our trading parcel at $38.99 which is looking like a pretty good price for the day right now.
