kreats...
I have been alluding to this approach from McCrae all along.
The entire information flow has been stage managed in my opinion, to gradually (lol if you can call it that) release the significance of the find, so that the shares had plenty of time to rise and create a decent buffer between the company and any suitor.
It may even be argued that McCrae lost control of this "gradual" approach...certainly I am sure he did not want to see such high prices before the options were issued.
By the way...I still view the options issue as a defensive move...a case of shoring up the strength of the register to ward off any unfriendly moves.
Anyway...as I was saying, the information was put together in such a way as to maintain a certain degree of ambiguity...certainly enough to stop any majors making any informed decisions about the results.
In spite of what people have said however, the locations could be worked out and his shallow/deep hole resource targeting combination could be determined...albeit with various margins for error.
For example, I was able to determine a possible 62 million tonne resource long before the 59 million tonne resource was announced...just needed a bit of "interpretation" and homework.
Assuming the current drilling pattern is ongoing and taking into account recent hole discriptions, I now have a 110 million tonne resource according to my calcs...of course, I have made quite a few assumptions to get this, such as a constant step-out grid along trend.
I have no doubt the big end of town are behind all the confusion here...and will do everything in their powers to see this little "upstart" back in its box.
I am affraid, in the interim, they will likely succeed, forcing a sell-down of the stock on re-listing...but only to help their own eventualy postions in the stock.
This is not over by a long shot.
In the goodness of time, all this "controversy" will blow over, yet the stuff in the ground will still be there, regardless of what "they" want us to think, or do not want us to think!
If it is there, we have a mine and will all be rich...if it is only partially there, we still have a mine and will all be well-off...if it is not there however, then we will do our dollars, simple!.
But...do people really believe McCrae would announce something that was not there?
Cheers!
