DTs Got three candidates for the opening, treated all differently.
+MAH Bought the open, immediately placed a sell after I got filled. USually I try to exit MOC on these trades, but often these low SP stocks don't run that far in this process so I just take a tick and move on. Important to realise that this is in no way an attempt to "play for a tick". I'm trying to "add value" to the trade type that I use. I'm familiar with the way that price action works in this context so I take a quicker, higher probability exit. Otherwise I have to wait till the close and have to deal with a potentially onerous b/a spread to close off. +MRM Such a lovely trade. System suggested that I buy the open, but the announcement dictated that it was going to get punished so I waited for a better price. Textbook tape reading entry, texbook TA exit at the ID high.
SXL - this was the third candidate to buy on the open, but I was left in the queue...always the bridesmaid never the bride - boo hoo
