Yeah. Getting to the point where it is almost impossible to walk.
The new, replacement knee, clicks and groans worse than the one it replaced.
Literally in tears to walk 5, (YES 5) metres.
Nothing I can do about it, but when the bookings office
at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital opens on the 19 th,
have to get in touch with the surgeon again.
He said that he would do my other knee by Xmas, (didn't happen),
but now I'm not even sure I want it done.
It's a different sort of pain, and although more painful,
more "tolerable". Hard to explain here.
All these years of having one buggered knee, has destroyed the other one.
Put on 30 kilos because I cant walk.
Luckily God invented shopping trolleys.
Leaning on them is the only way I can get around.
Funny thing is, standing still is impossible,
and hobbling around slowly is less painful.
Thanks for asking, and I'll survive, although at times
I wonder if it is worth it.
