    I'd agree with that Fib. Facts, especially those released by the company with no additional commentary would be hard to be construed as 'benefiting' the advisor or even being seen as financial advice...

    Even with some commentary linking various different announcements, within the scope of journalism I think you'd be safe.

    I just know that it is a funny line they drew in 2012/2013 with the new FOFA (and amended in 2014) because they really broad-brushed the entire industry. When they do that, it makes lawyers jobs much easier to place precedent because the cases don't need to directly relate, they only need to relate to the same article within the new guidelines.

    I'm not a lawyer by any stretch either, so I'm being super super conservative.
