    Well I was curious to have a look myself, so I'll post the SPX priced in AUD, and the XJO priced in US pesos below...

    SPX in AUD


    And you can see any aussie putting their AUD's into the USD denominated SPX would have seen pretty rubbish returns since the March 09 lows. In fact it would have only seen a maximum profit of 23.2% in the April peak (after converting back to AUD). Also, because of recent AUD strength, despite the SPX reaching a new high on Friday, the profit after returning to AUD's on Fridays close is a pathetic 12.4% from the March 09 low.


    XJO in USD


    For any yankers investing USD's into XJO, as of Friday, on converting back to USD they would have almost made 150% profit. There's also a higher peak on the chart showing XJO in USD is hitting a higher high than April, whereas the normal XJO is still somewhat short of the April top.
