    Personally I find it can be a problem too , any scanning for the holy grail can sometimes have you watching squillions of stocks and no time to press the buy/sell buttons :))

    All I do these days is have a core list of shares I watch and mainly trade them in and out, as after awhile (like BHP ) the patterns are predictable.
    For smaller and speculative stocks use simple indicators and trade stocks you know.

    If your chasing your tail all the time, get the delete button happening

    My basic scan on anything is from a list of stocks i want to trade and then
    =Stochastic bullish bearish cross
    =EMA 5/13 cross above 41ema for longs and opposite for shorts
