I would like to update some bond market stuff but alas the RBA has not updated their dataset yet (which is odd).
Certainly yields O/S in the majors have eased (risen) a smidge.
I have not yet read any significant developments (except for a rate cut) of late that support such a rally in our equity market. EU I can understand, but here it evades me.
It's as if an entity is doing the bidding (and no one selling). Bit odd.
I don't think this rally has anything to do with future earnings expectations really. I don't think managers all of a sudden reevaluated their DCF, FCF or whatever their method and though yeah, future growth looks ridiculously good. Just a hunch.
This feels quite manufactured all things considered. However no doubt it can remain that way for some time.
