Maxi - books come in all styles, shapes and forms.

Some are cons. Some are wisdom. Some just rehash old stuff.

The trick is to know the difference. That's what I believe a long and tortuous formal education does for you.

I wouldn't be without my library of over a thousand books. I wouldn't be without the bigger library one can find in a university.

That doesn't mean that someone who hasn't had such an education can't be wise. Or that they don't know a thing or three.

But - perhaps you shouldn't knock what you haven't experienced?
