    Hi Jako - nice DJIA. Jinx!

    The top of the channel is a little more "whatif" than the bottom of the channel so I would probably be reluctant to call it a HR failure there - but having said that it has had a wide spread reaction down which is what you expect with a HR failure - so maybe. Also with HR failures, the near miss generally works out more often I find. A near miss on the bottom would be a HR failure for sure.
    Pitchfork rules revolve a lot around HR failures so they obviously do work out pretty good on those and a failing fork I find is more predictave short term - if it fail the median, then project past the previous pivot or at least to the bottom/top tine. And with VSA you have the advantage of being able to anticipate a failure early.
