Just to clarify I don't think shorting the market is a good idea other than for the pros or the adrenalin junkies and Commodore drivers. I don't short a lot but when I do only on a daily basis and never hold short O/N. I only do it for a bit of fun because sometimes a short setup is too good an opportunity to knock back, which when it is obvious often goes the wrong way on you lol.
