This is a must read imho for all investors who hope to accumulate serious wealth from the stock market, it came with permission from Peter63 on the CNB board.

One of the key things that I can see some on HC fail to realise, is that you simply must do the research (hard work) to fully understand every stock you put your hard earned $ into. Questions asking about information that is easy to find in the company announcements are simple lazy people that haven’t done the work (reading).

The absolute minimum is to read EVERY announcement for the previous 12 months; preferably longer. That includes the very long half yearly and annual reports.
