My knowledge about O&G is negligible and anyone with a technical background can certainly correct me on this but it seems to me that drilling into the source kitchen serves no useful purpose as it will not provide a useful flow of HCs. Notwithstanding, posters continue from time to time to suggest that we may be drilling in to it. Can someone more knowledgeable please clarify this and if I'm correct, then maybe we can desist from suggesting this as a strategy.
