Hi h00ts ... yes I never use that cheat-sheet feature. I didn't know about the volume not having Chi-X, thanks. I have noticed they (Barcharts) appear to often leave out the day end auction volume or maybe it's just well delayed. I subscribed to a professional data service (Iress) for a few months recently to give me live depth to enable me to refine my buying and selling.
It was very interesting ... it was quite a novelty to start with, that tended to encourage over-trading, but it was very good when the algorithms were working as it showed their presence so taught me to back off and wait ... just set my prices and walk away. My learning there has been very beneficial.
My general strategy is to (modest) average in and out, then pile in and pile out when confirmation of a turn is obvious. It really works well for me and my personality I think ... so I don't need absolute trigger points but percentage plays guided by charts, shorts and insider activity.
