The post regarding the MCS syndicate is relevant to CER in that it probably could be one way for CER to go with future profit distribution.As with MCS it requires a change to the constitution. I doubt that it will happen with CER though as CER has a positive cash flow with a surplus that can be distributed to shareholders in future. Remember GR's statement about returning CNP and CER to their original purpose of providing investment income to it's shareholders. In a way though by issuing saleable shares as the dividend it could be seen that that was happening.
There is a tax liability when shares are issued as a distribution.
