There has been some talk of this bull compared to '82-'87.

It is unlikely to be an exact copy although there are many similarities.

I mentioned in past posts about a 3 stage bull that is surge/creep/surge since '03 and possibly doing a fractal since the recent March low.

The '87 crash resulted in a crrection that ended in Nov '92 IMO.

Since then we have had a surge into '94, a creep into '02 and now a surge to the present.

Yeh, a similar pattern or fractal.

So is daily from March a fractal of '03 to present which is a fractal of '94 to present?

Anyway here is a comparison of the '82-'87 bull and '03 to present.

I have started on the exact days of each low and adjusted for scale.

An exact match would see a May '09 top about 14,000.

I doubt it can get to May '09 myself and you can see, current behaviour is anything but a perfect match except in the broadest sense.
