thu, because it is a statistically rare event, i'm not sure a conclusion can be drawn from it.
imo, china rather than the us, may be the one to watch in the short term.
last night, i read an online article that compared the chart pattern of the nasdaq dotcom bubble and the shanghai composite and the similarities were quite striking. (i wish i had saved the site in favourites so i could post it, but it was late, and too darn tired to think of it).
