"Why cut a profitable trade?" Because it has reached the approximate target my setup gave. Like I said, I will sneak a stop up behind the trade if I can but I have found being too greedy just gives the market a chance to reverse and take out a BE stop. I generally leave my stop at breakeven and try to let the market tell me when the trade has run it's course. Momentum rate of change works well for me(which is the indicator I just mentioned)
