Whether the pattern I labelled as a dragon fly doji is a doji or a hammer doesn't really matter. The effect is much the same. I have learnt not to get to technical about candle patterns. We missed acting on the 21 Nov 2008 bullish engulfing in BHP in part because the second day finished just marginally below the first and to be a bullish engulfing it has to close at least level.
