Nice kick up in the tin price overnight - half hedged in at A$25k/t the other half not too dissimilar. I think the tin market is little understood - the supply side is basically made up of artisan mining in Indo islands, Myanmar and China.. then a couple of mines in Bolivia, Peru and DRC. Renison is the only producing mine in the western world from my understanding. Huge chances of supply disruptions at some stage IMO, Chinese smelters already wound back production as they aren’t getting enough feedstock. If tin jumps 20% to A$30k/t (analysts have it at US$9/lb or A$29k/t LT). Renison could make the MLX EV (circa $80m) in a FCF in a single year.. not saying it will happen but food for thought
