I agree not having combined data is not great. I bought Metastock V15 chart program and use end of day data with that, I can display both ASX and CHI X charts however haven't figured out how to combine them. I am starting to use weekly charts more often so the difference is not too much of a problem.
I still sometimes use PRT during the day in the IG Trading platform, it has smaller time frames which is helpful when trading. I don't trade on IG found the spread was rough on short time frame trades just use the charts.
On your charts using the close price on both charts you can interpret what appears to be a reversal so that is still useful.
This may or may not be right I am still learning all this so this is just a general comment.
