Interesting ... I remember iress refreshing a few times one day. The problem lasted for few hours and actually didn't occur again by doing nothing. I rung my previous provider. The guy who came to fix the issue(query) after a couple of days said that he could see some issue display on in his system(? his gadget) on the same day I had that momentary disconnection+refreshing. He wasn't sure of the cause. So he just changed the cable box. Within a week provider changed. Now it's NBN. Problem started again after a few days. I tried turning off the modem to see if it caused that refresh. It didnt. Weired. However, I won't rule out internet issue causing the refresh mainly because the optus guy mentioned that and you're told so. May be we should ask your internet provider to do a check at your premises. Tell them iress recommended. I rung them. They can't see anything from their end.
