Spent a few minutes comparing world markets recovery since GFC ... Oz Market really has been the laggard. Been through a mining boom, solidish economy (no recession in how long??) but doesn't translate to SP's it appears.
Weekly charts using the measuring tool to show %age (circled) and points gained.
And here I've done a very quick analysis of recent tumble; daily charts showing total points and %age fall. Also use fib retrace to show %age of fall that it has recovered. IMO 50% bouncebacks very common resistance; 61.8% shows strength.
Note also the shooting star candles on Oz and Dow ..... interesting times.
