WEEKLY OPERATIONAL REPORT
The Directors of Antares Energy Limited (ASX:AZZ) advise of the following operational activities
conducted during the previous week.
PROJECT: BIG STAR
WELL: WOODWARD 7 NO. 1
WORKING INTEREST: 90% BPO / 75% APO
LOCATION: DAWSON COUNTY, TEXAS
Drilling operations have commenced on Woodward 7 No. 1 with surface casing successfully
cemented. The preliminary total depth of the well is 11,000 ft. The well is expected to encounter
pays in the Mississippian, Pennsylvanian, Cline, Wolfcamp, Dean, and Spraberry formations.
There is the potential for encountering pay in the Cisco, which produced approximately one mile
north. The well will also test tight Dean clastics just outside of the fairway of conventional Dean
production.
PROJECT: SOUTHERN STAR
WELL: COYOTE NO. 1
WORKING INTEREST: 97.3%
LOCATION: DAWSON COUNTY, TEXAS
Coyote No. 1 is currently undergoing an acid stimulation of conventional Strawn porosity after
having successfully completed a two-stage fracture stimulation treatment of the Atoka and
Mississippian reservoirs. Upon completion of the acid stimulation the Strawn will be tested prior
to commingling the deeper reservoirs.
PROJECT: SOUTHERN STAR
WELL: LIVE OAK NO. 1
WORKING INTEREST: 48.6%
LOCATION: DAWSON COUNTY, TEXAS
The fracture stimulation of the Live Oak No. 1, originally scheduled for early January 2012, will
commence the week of November 14
th
. The stimulation will treat reservoirs found in the
Mississippian, Atoka, Strawn, Canyon, Cline, Wolfcamp and Leonard Lime geologic units.
