    Idealists like him are all through history, I wouldnt sweat it, just keep in mind that typically radical idealists with power often end up killing their political opponents and most of the citizens they swore to protect. So if you want to survive this next chapter in "people who failed history class" then look after your self and your immediate community.

    I think Ray Dalio summed it up with his take on the rise of Populism in politics, "the inability for either side to compromise". Id say compromise is well and truly dead and the pathway ends with extreme blood shed, until both sides have exhausted themselves from killing.
