If the FDA approves this drug to treat sleep apnea it sounds like game over for all mask makers including Resmed but it can't be that simple because then the stock market would have already hammered RMD a while back.
I will need to research further but I think it's unlikely the drug will be effective enough to completely remove the symptoms or the side effects etc would mean clinicians still prescribe CPAP machines. There are already other treatments available but the first point is to try and make a CPAP mask work. If that fails then other treatments are looked at. Likely because this is the only non invasive treatment with 0 side effects. (I agree not comfortable but I would much rather be uncomfortable than take medication that will permanently effect my body and mind).

Only 1 I could find. Set for completion March '24 and but seems not recruiting yet. Protocol states its for people who cannot use CPAP.
