Hi again folks

As most regular followers of our thread know, I am not a 'sophisticated investor'. LOL, I'm no technical man either! But I thought I'd ask the question that I reckon several of the novices like me are probably thinking.

Chalea seems to be a respected in the area of T/A and in the past, when his posts have a buy signal on them, he tends to get green thumbs and follow up posts.

On the 24th and 25th of this month, Chalea posted with a 'buy' signal and spoke of a medium term ballpark target in the mid 7s.

Today, Chalea has changed his sentiment to 'none' and the contents of his posts were not anywhere near as positive as they were a week earlier.

Couple of questions.

Can/does T/A have a habit of changing so quickly from good to not so good on a regular basis with all stocks?

How/why does T/A change so much when fundamentals are either improved, good, or at the very least, seemingly unchanged from when the 'buy' signal was being espoused?

As I said, I've got no idea abour T/A, but I always wonder why it's considered by many folk to be very important when it's what we want to hear, but perhaps not as important if we don't like what's being said.

Finally, would I be right to think that fundamentals and positive announcments are ultimately more important than a T/A observation that seems to have the potential to change quite quickly from one day/week to the next, even though the fundamentals are as good or better than they were the week before?

Thought I'd put this out for anyone who would care to have a stab at trying to line up the pros and cons of technicals vs fundamentals.
