    charts are a useful tool to assist in a buying or selling decision however in my mind charts are most reliable AFTER the event.
    all the nice lines chartists draw over charts/double tops/double bottoms etc are after the event- they can then say told you so!
    In my mind charts are not infallible in predicting the future.
