Wouldn't Fred (and everybody else) be better off to wait for income from sales? Even $1 nett to AKP per chip, with no known opposition and a superior product, would mean a vast long term income stream.
EM's 6 inch fab was reported to be able to generate 50,000,000 chips per annum. Add the other two 8 inch fabs and we are looking at, say 150.000.000 chips per annum. Once (finally) they figure out the process presumably the same machines/programming can be readily duplicated.
