weirdly inconsistent technical metrics between brokers (PE is whack?)

just another example why blindly trusting metrics published on brokers pages doesn't tell the story about a stock.

Comsec is showing PE of 365.96 & dividend yield = NA
Selfwealth showing PE = 7.88

current share price / last reported earnings/share on comsec financials page = 1.72/.08 = 21.5
even trying a range of prices from charts over last year I can't replicate either of the PE ratios.


looking at comsec financials page, AAC hasn't paid a dividend 2013-2021
open trader tells me dividends last paid in 2008.
a search of ASX announcements in recent years shows no dividends.
(which is ok as dividends != earnings, just saying.

I'm looking at this stock because generally food supply globally is under squeeze and rain in Australia should mean food stocks have a good season. still doing my DD, will see what falls out.

11% gain from 1.395 on 06/12/2021 to 1.545 on 10/12/2021
8% loss from 1.55 on 20/01/2022 to 1.43 on 25/01/2022
24% gain from 1.43 on 25/01/2022 to 1.77 on 02/03/2022

one of my DD methods includes looking at general trends against the market, 'similar' companies and over a range of timeframes.
