I wouldn't worry about it.
Despite some people being able to fluke the market direction now and then, considering that everyone has an opinion, someone's going to get it right and crow about their knowledge.
It is impossible to predict the future, from graphs, from the past or from expectations of the future.
The system which works without fail is to buy under valued companies and wait until they rise to value. Sell some or all when they are fairly priced. Always keep some cash, say 10-20% for bargains. Don't be afraid to take profits when the market is up. It's easy then.
Believe in yourself.
