I've been following the OCV thread and now notice you have hopped on board CIY.
Curious as to why you've taken a punt, which I presume is recent.
Personally I'm holding (since early '07) and have no intention of selling. If you look at the letter J, CIY is currently top left. Worse to come methinks (which is why no buy recommendation yet), not sure how long the trough will linger, but good times down the road. I'm an optimist, which is unfashionable at the moment. Fashions change.
If I had to sell tomorrow, then yes, I've taken a bath, but in terms of cash flow, even geared, I'm ahead of the game. The daily share price affects nothing but my percentage gain/loss column.
I expect a divi chop for the full year. Happy for CIY to buffer itself and give breathing space.
