Thank you Hag ..Trump has got the idea and the practicality of generating power .I would add the new small atomic reactors built in factories and assembled on site. ...These Modular Reactors can be built for a town or even a factory.Modular Reactor design has changed the whole dynamics of atomic energy and pollution.Yes we will have waste at low levels of radioactivity when can then be reprocessed and finally the very low level final waste can be safely buried.
I might remind readers that these small reactors like submarine reactors and aircraft carrier reactors once fuelled last almost 30 years...A Modular reactor is easy to instal and can be adapted to the electrical network of a coal powered station but right now coal dust and water injected into heat chambers burns at enormous temperatures, and provides, with filters very low pollution and very cheap energy ....indeed much cheaper than Atomic reactors and nuclear fuel and Australian coal is the cleanest coal in the world.
So nuclear May be the next step but it appears that while coal is plentiful and coal powered stations are cheap to build that a well filtered coal plant with carbon dioxide capturing technology and the use of gas and oil may be the main stays for back up to wind power and water power for the foreseeable future .
