I think the answer to today's coal prices lies in late messaging ..ie the USA is moving nicely in all areas and "You can't kiss all the ladies"..."Well you can't kiss them all at once" and coal it appears is at the back of the queue!!! Yes the price will move positively but not in my time or your time but in it's own time as power demand moves up with increased economic activity...more heat generation and more steel is required world wide..Steel coal and Energy coal prices will move with a rise in economic activity. I think there is also a fear of President Trump's tariffs and that it may impact on Australian coal...via a cut back in Japanese US exports..that will pass. All the best to all.
