GZ Despite the support of friendly ME governments, it is obvious that the citizens of ALL Muslim countries now hate our guts.
Not quite. I watched last night an interview with the former Kuwaiti Ambassador to the US.
He sounded.........normal.
He said categorically that
the US was correct in it's actions and that the Iraqis would appreciate it once the fear of Sadam is gone.
There is no such thing as the "Arab street".....
Kuwaut could not care less what the other Arab nations have to say about their position.
Wasn't too complimenatry about the Palestinians (in Kuwait) as they collaborated with the Iraqis in1990/91 But does acknowledge that the issue will have to be addressed eventually. Went on to claim that the Palestinian Israeli issue in regard to Iraq/Sadam was a red herring..... etc etc.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing. The guy was in full Arab regalia....Part of the royal family.
Went on to say about the lack of democracy in all the Arab countries.....
