I had the pleasure of watching the Floyd at East Fremantle Oval in February 1988 Sungar…….never smoked pot in my life, but got absolutely stoned on the fumes coming from the mob around me and saw pink elephants flying in the night……………..amazing concert, highlight of my life, next to Led Zep at Subi Oval in Feb 1972……I couldn't hear my teacher speak for 3 days……the volume was on 10+ and could be heard all the way to Scarborough beach LOL!!
And then there was Rory Gallagher at her Majesty's theatre in March 1975 was mind numbing……..whatever happens in the market……..I have seen, heard, felt and lived music that makes the soul totally comfortable with this existence.
p.s. I'm not into religion, drugs, ego, racism and any other quirk that spoils what I believe is a good life on this crazy planet we find ourselves on.
