your question got me doing a bit more homework. out of interest looked up asx: rez who did the same deal the the bm jv guys. found them from the earlier KWR announcement. rez made some money ($3.5m) from 8757 ounces produced when gold was selling for $2600. but interesting 12 months later still a $5/6m market cap company today. they saved a cap raise but didn't move the dial value wise. so good strategy to save raising capital at a low market cap but maybe doesn't get anyone excited enough to re rate you. but then if I look at anyone producing gold themselves even the smaller mid caps they are all $100 plus plus and some of them don't have many more resources then we do now.
