More rubbish from the Weekly Times. Right up your ally.

And the CEO of the TFGA, Jan Davis, will feed WT same because she just makes it up as she goes along. She has no idea.

$15,000 ha to convert plantation back to pasture? - pull the other leg. May be to convert it to an olive grove!

Davis also claimed 60% of Gunns Tasmanian estate was on third party leased land. Absolute rubbish. Arrant nonsense. Loony.

She also claimed on ABC radio that all leases payments would be defaulted by the receiver. That may happen for leases that don't stack up against the plantation revaluation (i.e. slower growth rates), but they'll keep paying leases that are still in the money. It happened with TIM and GTP and no reason it will be dufferent for GNS. Like Gunns, the receiver still needs an estate to offer for the pulp mill project to have any value as an asset for sale.

Its about time Davis and the TFGA learnt to recognise the difference between a glass half full and one that's half empty.
