Not only has SHE managed to get Simon Fleming one of the most experienced uranium exploration geologists in the world, now SHE has Bob Cleary the former CEO of ERA.
From Announcement
STONEHENGE APPOINTS FORMER ERA CEO
The Directors of Stonehenge Metals Limited (Stonehenge or the Company) are pleased to advise the
appointment of highly experienced uranium industry executive and uranium processing specialist Mr Bob
Cleary as a non‐executive director and consultant to the Company.
Mr Cleary, B.Sc (tech) Chem. Eng, graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the University of NSW prior to
beginning work in the chemical and petrochemical manufacturing industries in Sydney, Melbourne and
New Zealand.
In the mid 1980's, Mr Cleary was enticed into the mining industry ranks, joining Energy Resources of
Australia (ERA) as Operations Manager at its Ranger mine in Australias Northern Territory. He was
promoted to General Manager Operations and oversaw the restructure of the mines operation in order
to sustain the assets profitability during a period of record low uranium prices. Mr Cleary transferred
within North Ltd (North) where he spent 4 years evaluating nickel and iron ore investment opportunities
in Western Australia. Mr Cleary subsequently rejoined the ERA team as Deputy Chief Executive before
being promoted to Chief Executive in mid 1999. He held this position during the takeover of North by Rio
Tinto Ltd in 2000 and continued until early 2004 when he decided to cease full time employment.
Mr Cleary is Chairman of ASX‐listed of Crossland Uranium Ltd and a director of Natasa Mining Ltd. He also
provides consulting services to Natasa Mining.
The directors are delighted that Mr Cleary has agreed to bring his considerable experience in the uranium
sector to the Stonehenge Board.
Stonehenge Chairman Mr Warren Staude said Bobs years of experience at Ranger and leading ERA,
together with his experience in developing new opportunities for North, stand him in good stead to help
drive the development of Stonehenges flagship Daejon Uranium Project in South Korea.
If you need to know where SHE think they can take this project just look at the people running it, some of the best uranium experience in the game in the one boardroom!!
Further re-affirms my decision to hold SHE through this market turbulence, and possibly buy more when i get paid next.
