They can't and shouldn't spend funds on whatever they see fit. They have duties as directors.

One of the reason DGR can't easily maintain its % in SOLG is because it trades at a big discount.....which is probably largely because of the other investments the directors have made in their daughters.
Also how can any of the directors keep their personal % in SOLG (if that is what they do) and dilute DGR holders....that would seem a bit inconsistent.
Not saying they don't have a plan...no doubt they know a hell of lot more than me...just seems odd from an outsider's point of view.
