It was suss for a while but the pattern’s well and truly been established. Sell down to start the day’s trading or sell down on announcement to create panic(especially on the very technical announcements ie: Metallurgical results where many are simply, and naively, watching the market to gauge sentiment) and shake out the nervy ones, once that’s happened the following hours or days are in the green. Have to hand it to the pros, it’s been working, though they aren’t getting any of mine!
